Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you use the MOVONRIDE apps or website. By creating an account you agree to them. Additional terms in the captain and agent apps apply to partners.

MovonRide is a technology platform that connects riders and senders with independent captains. Captains are not employees of MovonRide.

• You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information, including a mobile number you can receive OTPs on.
• Keep your account secure; you're responsible for activity on it.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, are used fraudulently or put others at risk.

• The estimated fare, including any surge, is shown before you book. The final fare can change if the trip changes, for example a different drop point, added stops or a significantly longer route.
• Cancelling may carry a fee once a captain has arrived at your pickup. The app shows this before you confirm.
• Share your ride PIN only with your captain, in the vehicle.
• Parcels must not contain illegal, dangerous or prohibited items, and must be within the size and weight limits shown. Optional parcel insurance is provided by our insurance partner on their terms.
• Treat captains and their vehicles with respect. Damage or misconduct may lead to charges or suspension.

• You can pay the captain in cash or by UPI, or pay from your MovonRide wallet. Online payments are processed by Razorpay.
• Wallet balance can be used only within MovonRide and isn't interest-bearing. Refunds, if any, are made to the wallet unless stated otherwise.
• Promotional and referral rewards may expire and can be withdrawn if obtained unfairly.

• You must hold a valid driving licence, vehicle registration and any permits required for your vehicle, and keep your documents up to date.
• You must pass verification before going online. Expired documents can pause your account.
• Approved captains receive ₹300 platform credit. It can be used only to pay platform fees and is not withdrawable.
• A platform fee is charged for each completed ride or delivery and deducted from your wallet. Fees are shown in the app.
• You receive requests only while your wallet balance is above ₹100.
• Withdrawals of eligible earnings are subject to the limits shown in the app.

• Agent accounts are activated after review. Agents must register only genuine captains with their consent and handle their documents securely.
• Commission is earned on qualifying milestones for captains registered through you, at the amounts shown in the agent app. MovonRide may change commission amounts and milestones going forward.
• Agents must meet the minimum onboarding requirement for each period. Accounts that don't may be paused or disabled.
• Commission obtained through fraudulent or duplicate registrations will be reversed.

Harassment, discrimination, violence, intoxicated driving and misuse of the SOS feature are not allowed. Report any incident through the app; we may share information with authorities where required.

To the extent permitted by law, MovonRide is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the acts of captains, riders or third parties. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Hyderabad have jurisdiction, subject to any applicable consumer protection law.
