19 Wallet Usage, Withdrawals & Settlement Policy
MOVONRIDE | Customer • Agent • Driver Wallets | Draft for legal and operational approval
17.1 Scope and definitions: MOVONRIDE may display separate wallet or ledger balances for Customers, Agents and Driver-Partners. A displayed balance may represent refundable customer funds, promotional credits, earnings, commissions, incentives, adjustments or amounts pending settlement. These categories have different rights and restrictions. “Business Day” means Monday through Friday, excluding applicable bank, payment-system and notified public holidays.
17.2 Nature of wallet; regulatory condition: Wallet functions shall be offered only through a legally permissible arrangement, including an appropriately authorised payment partner where required. Nothing in these Terms represents that MOVONRIDE itself is authorised by the Reserve Bank of India to issue a prepaid payment instrument. Wallet functionality, loading, transfers, cash-out and redemption are subject to applicable law, the payment partner’s terms and the approved product configuration.
17.3 Customer wallet: The Customer Wallet may reflect eligible refunds, cashbacks, promotional credits and, only if legally supported, user-added funds. Promotional credits may be restricted to eligible MOVONRIDE bookings and are not redeemable for cash unless expressly permitted by the applicable offer and law. Refunds of original payments will be returned to the original payment method where required by law or payment rules. Customers shall be informed of the nature and restrictions of each credit before use.
17.4 Driver wallet: The Driver Wallet may show completed-trip earnings, incentives, tips (where enabled), cash collections to be reconciled, platform fees, refunds, chargebacks and other documented adjustments. “Available to Withdraw” means the verified, settled amount remaining after lawful and disclosed adjustments; pending earnings are not immediately withdrawable.
17.5 Agent wallet: The Agent Wallet may show approved referral commissions, onboarding incentives, service fees or other contractually earned amounts. Agent credits become withdrawable only when eligibility criteria, relevant service completion, verification, applicable taxes and any agreed cooling-off or reversal periods are satisfied. An Agent must not represent that the Agent can accept deposits, promise returns or withdraw Customer/Driver funds unless expressly authorised.
17.6 Weekday-only withdrawal processing: Withdrawal requests are processed ONLY on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, during MOVONRIDE’s published processing hours. No withdrawal processing is performed on Saturday or Sunday. Requests received on Saturday or Sunday will be queued for processing on the next eligible Business Day. Requests received after the published weekday cut-off may be processed on the following eligible Business Day. A public/bank holiday, banking outage, compliance review or payment-provider delay may extend processing. “Processed” does not guarantee that funds will appear in the beneficiary account on the same day.
17.7 Withdrawal eligibility and method: Only eligible withdrawable balances may be transferred to a verified bank account or other legally supported payout destination registered in the account holder’s name. MOVONRIDE may require identity verification, bank validation, PAN or other legally necessary tax information, and a valid linked account. Minimum/maximum withdrawal amounts, processing cut-off, frequency limits and any applicable fees must be displayed in-app before confirmation; no undisclosed deduction may be imposed.
17.8 Transfers between wallets: Customer, Agent and Driver wallets are distinct. Transfers between users or between wallet types are disabled unless expressly enabled under a lawful, technically supported payment arrangement and disclosed in the app. Wallet balances cannot be sold, pledged or exchanged outside permitted functionality.
17.9 Booking payments and debits: Where supported, an eligible wallet balance may be used for booking fares, cancellation charges or other clearly disclosed MOVONRIDE services. Any combination of wallet and another payment method, partial debit, reversal or cancellation must be shown on the transaction receipt. No deduction shall be made without a contractual, legal or transaction-based basis.
17.10 Refunds, reversals and failed payouts: Cancelled rides, duplicate charges, failed bookings, payment reversals and chargebacks will be handled under the Refund Policy and applicable payment rules. If a withdrawal fails or is rejected by a bank, the amount shall be restored to the correct ledger after reconciliation, unless it remains under a lawful hold. Users will not be required to pay an additional undisclosed fee to recover a failed payout.
17.11 Incorrect credits, negative balances and reconciliation: MOVONRIDE may correct demonstrable ledger errors, duplicate credits and misapplied transactions, with an auditable entry and notice to the affected user. Cash collected by drivers and amounts due to the platform may be reconciled against earnings only where agreed and legally permitted. Any negative balance, recovery or set-off must be supported by transaction records and an accessible dispute route.
17.12 Fraud, suspicious activity and holds: MOVONRIDE may temporarily restrict transactions or withdrawals where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, account compromise, identity mismatch, unlawful transactions or a binding legal direction. Holds should be proportionate, documented and reviewed promptly. Users may be asked for additional verification; access to statutory complaints and remedies remains unaffected.
17.13 Transaction history and statements: Users should be able to view wallet opening and closing balances, each credit/debit, transaction reference, date, description, status, adjustments and withdrawal outcome. Receipts or downloadable statements should be available where operationally supported. Records will be retained in accordance with applicable tax, accounting, payments and data-protection requirements.
17.14 Fees, tax and incentives: Applicable wallet/payout fees, commissions, GST, TDS/TCS (where applicable), incentives and deductions must be identified before or at the relevant transaction. The applicable tax treatment depends on the actual payment structure and participant status; MOVONRIDE may issue relevant statements or certificates as required by law.
17.15 Inactivity, closure and unclaimed funds: MOVONRIDE will not arbitrarily forfeit withdrawable earned funds because of inactivity or account closure. Eligible balances will be settled or refunded according to applicable law, payment-partner rules, outstanding lawful adjustments and verification requirements. Promotional credits may have clearly disclosed offer expiry conditions; statutory rights and protected balances will not be overridden by such conditions.
17.16 Privacy and security: Wallet records, bank details, identity information and transaction data are processed as described in the Privacy Policy. MOVONRIDE will apply access controls and appropriate security measures; users must safeguard login credentials and report unauthorised transactions promptly. Payment credentials should be handled by authorised providers where required.
17.17 Disputes and grievance escalation: Users may report missing credits, incorrect deductions, unauthorised transactions, rejected withdrawals or settlement discrepancies through the in-app support channel or srianjinepowerinfra@gmail.com. MOVONRIDE will acknowledge and investigate complaints under its published grievance process, without restricting any remedies available under consumer, banking or other applicable law.
17.18 Changes to wallet terms: Material changes to eligibility, charges, withdrawal rules or payout methods will be notified in advance as required by applicable law. Changes shall not retroactively deprive users of accrued, legally payable funds.
17.19 Publication and operational confirmations: Before launch, confirm and publish: (a) wallet issuer/payment partner and regulatory model; (b) whether Customers can load money or only receive refunds/promotions; (c) eligibility of Customer cash withdrawals; (d) Driver and Agent settlement cycle; (e) weekday processing hours and cut-off; (f) minimum/maximum withdrawal and charges; (g) bank holiday rules; (h) support/grievance contacts; (i) refund and reversal timeframes; and (j) any partner-specific terms. Do not activate a wallet function until the applicable legal and technical arrangements are approved.
Cross-references: Customer Terms; Driver/Agent Agreements; Fare & Payment Policy; Cancellation & Refund Policy; Privacy Policy; Grievance Redressal Policy. If inconsistent, mandatory law and applicable payment-provider requirements prevail.
